Ingredients:
- 1 can (15 ounces) of garbanzo beans, drained and rinsed
- 3 tablespoons of tahini
- 3 tablespoons of lemon juice
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon of ground cumin
- Salt to taste
- Water as needed
Instructions:
- In a food processor, combine the garbanzo beans, tahini, lemon juice, garlic, olive oil, cumin, and salt.
- Pulse the mixture until smooth, scraping down the sides as needed.
- With the food processor running, gradually add water, 1 tablespoon at a time, until the hummus reaches your desired consistency.
- Taste the hummus and adjust seasoning as needed.
- Transfer the hummus to a serving bowl and drizzle with olive oil.
