Ingredients:
- 1 cup quinoa (200 grams), rinsed and drained
- 1 3/4 cups water
- 12 grams of vegetable better than bouillon
- 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
- 1/2 Lemon or Lime
Instructions:
- Pour the rinsed quinoa into the Instant Pot.
- Add the broth, garlic powder, and squeeze lemon
- Stir to combine, whisk works great
- Close the lid and set the pressure release valve to "sealing."
- Cook on "Manual" or "Pressure Cook" setting for 1 minute at high pressure.
- Once the cooking time is up, let the pressure release naturally for 10 minutes, then carefully release any remaining pressure by switching the valve to "venting."
- Open the lid and fluff the quinoa with a fork. Serve as a side dish or use in salads, bowls, or as a base for stir-fries. Enjoy!
Use this to pair with a vegetable and main.
Also can add a favorite sauce on top from a hot sauce, siracha. As above will take to other flavors.
