Quinoa (Instapot)

 Ingredients:

  • 1 cup quinoa (200 grams), rinsed and drained
  • 1 3/4 cups water
  • 12 grams of vegetable better than bouillon
  • 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
  • 1/2 Lemon or Lime

Instructions:

  1. Pour the rinsed quinoa into the Instant Pot.
  2. Add the broth, garlic powder, and squeeze lemon
  3. Stir to combine, whisk works great
  4. Close the lid and set the pressure release valve to "sealing."
  5. Cook on "Manual" or "Pressure Cook" setting for 1 minute at high pressure.
  6. Once the cooking time is up, let the pressure release naturally for 10 minutes, then carefully release any remaining pressure by switching the valve to "venting."
  7. Open the lid and fluff the quinoa with a fork. Serve as a side dish or use in salads, bowls, or as a base for stir-fries. Enjoy!

Use this to pair with a vegetable and main.

Also can add a favorite sauce on top from a hot sauce, siracha. As above will take to other flavors.
