🥓🍎 Apple Bacon Cinnamon Bites (Air Fryer Version)

These are sweet-savory nuggets of joy — crisp bacon wrapped around buttery Honeycrisp apple chunks, brushed with cinnamon and a touch of melted butter.

Quick Method (full recipe):  
- Ingredients:  
  - 2 large Honeycrisp apples, cut into bite-sized chunks  
  - 1 lb bacon, halved  
  - 2 tbsp melted butter  
  - 2 tsp ground cinnamon 
 
Steps:  

  1. Brush apple chunks with butter and sprinkle with cinnamon.  

  2. Wrap each chunk with bacon (secure with toothpicks if needed when serving.)

  3. Air fry at 300°F for about 15 minutes, flipping halfway, until bacon is crisp.

🍏🔥 Air-Fried Apple Chips

These are crisp, naturally sweet, and perfect for snacking between bites of ribs or as a light dessert.

Simple Method (recipe here):  

- Ingredients:  
  - 1–2 Honeycrisp apples, thinly sliced  
  - ½ tsp cinnamon  
  - 1 tbsp sugar (optional)  
  - Pinch of salt  

- Steps:  
  1. Preheat air fryer to 300°F.  

  2. Toss apple slices with cinnamon, sugar, and salt.  

  3. Air fry in batches for 8 minutes, flipping halfway.  If they turn brown you have gone to far and a burnt caramel flavor will develop over powering the concentrated apple chip flavor.

  4. Let cool — they crisp up as they rest. Some may remain slightly soft since this a fast way to dehydrate apples.

Pro tip: Use a mandoline for even slices and don’t overcrowd the basket.
